The Afterschool Connection @ Dallin Elementary School is currently licensed for 185 children per day as long as the program meets DEEC ratio requirements.

In an effort to make enrollment as consistent as possible, we have adopted the following policy to accommodate as many families as possible in the Dallin Community

OUR INCOMING KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES

• Priority will be given to siblings of currently enrolled children.

• All new families who wish to enroll their child will need to submit an enrollment application by March 24, 2024, at 6:00pm to be placed into the “lottery” for any available enrollment spots.  Lottery Enrollment Application (see below) must be submitted by email to putusonthelist@gmail.com (this email is strictly used for incoming kindergarten enrollment).

• Applications will be chosen randomly, and no application will be considered until the deadline of March 24, 2024 regardless of the date submitted.

• Parents will receive email notification of their enrollment status by April 1, 2024.

• If enrollment is offered, a non-refundable $100 deposit fee will be required to hold your child’s spot.

• Parents that do not receive a spot in March will remain on the waiting list indefinitely and will be contacted should a spot become available unless you request to be removed from the waiting list.

The Afterschool Connection currently has a VERY lengthy waiting list for grades 1-5. At this point we do not anticipate being able to accommodate any families who are newly added to our list. We are happy to add your child to the waiting list , however we do not foresee being able to offer you care.

Kindergarten Afterschool Registration for 2019/2020 will take place in the Dallin School Cafeteria on Friday January 4, 2019 at 7:30AM. Please print and complete the Kindergarten Registration Form and return with the $50 registration fee made payable to : THE AFTERSCHOOL CONNECTION. Space fills quickly!! We suggest arriving early to ensure your child care spot.

The Afterschool Connection continues to have a lengthy waiting. If you would like to be placed on our waiting list, please contact the program via email so time and date can be documented. (tascdallin@comcast.net). The waiting list is maintained by grade level and contact date. Space must become available in your child’s grade level for us to offer you care. Each grade level group has an average of 30 children enrolled. Please contact the program if you would like to know where your child stands on the list. Kindergarten Spots We currently allocate 30 childcare spots for incoming kindergarten. Siblings of children currently in the program are enrolled first then the remaining spots are opened for registration. Incoming kindergarten afterschool registration begins in January and fills quickly. Please check our web page or email for time and date. http://www.tascdallin.wordpress.com / tascdallin@comcast.net Buffer Zone If you are currently in the buffer zone and awaiting notification from APS which school your child will be attending, registration fee will be refunded if your child will not be attending Dallin. Once space has become available and we contact you we ask that you reply within 3 business days. If we have not heard from you after this time we will continue down the list. We will not remove you from the list unless we hear otherwise from you.
